The roastery

A small roastery,
in Jerudong.

We roast every day on a Dutch-built Giesen W30 — gas-fired, thirty kilos to the drum. Each batch is profiled, cupped, and signed off before it leaves the building.

Sourcing happens slowly. Three blends and five rotating single origins from farms in Brazil, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Guatemala and India. If we wouldn't drink it ourselves, it doesn't reach your cup.

From the flagship at Jerudong to the café inside Brunei International Airport. Every branch serves the same coffee, roasted at HQ the same week, and the same small kitchen of cakes and pastries.

Open daily. Most cafés from 7am, some later into the evening.

Their Ethiopia Guji is the best filter coffee I've had in Brunei — properly fruity, properly clean. I order a bag every two weeks and the roast date is always within the week.

Stopped in at Kiulap on a Saturday morning. Flat white was textbook, the matcha latte even better. Friendly team who clearly love what they do.
