The roastery

A small roastery,
in Jerudong.

We roast every day on a Dutch-built Giesen W30 — gas-fired, thirty kilos to the drum. Each batch is profiled, cupped, and signed off before it leaves the building.

Sourcing happens slowly. Three blends and six single origins from farms in Brazil, Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, India and Peru. If we wouldn't drink it ourselves, it doesn't reach your cup.

Their Ethiopia Guji is the best filter coffee I've had in Brunei — properly fruity, properly clean. I order a bag every two weeks and the roast date is always within the week.

Stopped in at Kiulap on a Saturday morning. Flat white was textbook, the matcha latte even better. Friendly team who clearly love what they do.
